OCTOBER 4, 2023:
The Stanley County Schools are celebrating homecoming this week (Oct. 2-6, 2023). During coronation activities last night (Oct. 3, 2023), Barret Schweitzer and Cadence Hand were revealed as the 2023 Homecoming King and Queen.
The other homecoming royalty candidates were Tatum Scott, Mattie Duffy, Rachel Nemec, Broch Zeeb, Ehran Cantu’ and Levi Wagner-Erno. 2nd grade crown bearers were Tane Cronin and Kynlee Stoddard.
Stanley County School District Superintendent Dan Baldwin says “Sweet Adventures” is the theme for this year’s dress up days and Friday’s homecoming parade.
Baldwin says high school students will begin their day Friday by spending time with the younger students.
Friday’s parade starts at 2:30pm.

Congratulations to the following Stanley County Seniors who were selected for the 2023 Homecoming Court.

Stanley County Schools will celebrate homecoming October 2-6, 2023, with the theme “A Sweet Adventure!” Coronation festivities are October 3 in Parkview Auditorium beginning at 7pm CT. Please note the location is a change from previous years.
Homecoming dress-up days are as follows:
- Monday-“Rolo over”– wear your pajamas,
- Tuesday-“Mike & Ike”– twin day,
- Wednesday-“Lifesavers”– dress up as a superhero,
- Thursday-“Skittles”– class colors
- Seniors and 5th grade wear white,
- Juniors and 4th grade wear red,
- Sophomores and 3rd grade wear black,
- Freshmen and 2nd grade wear teal,
- 8th grade and 1st grade wear purple,
- 7th grade and kindergarten wear yellow,
- 6th grade wear orange.
- Friday- “Spirit Day”-purple & gold.
The homecoming parade will be October 6, with the start time yet to be determined.
