BROOKINGS – Brooklyn Meyer led six players in double figure scoring Tuesday as South Dakota State women’s basketball zoomed past Washburn 95-58 at Frost Arena.
Meyer scored 18. Paige Meyer and Tori Nelson each tallied 14. Madison Mathiowetz and Mesa Byom scored 11 points each. Madysen Vlastuin had 10 points.
SDSU (4-2) led 20-15 after one quarter, then had a 28-5 run in the second quarter to take control. The Jackrabbits scored 38 points in the quarter to Washburn’s 13.
