BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State’s pursuit of perfection during the 2023 season hit another gear Friday night (Dec. 15, 2023) as the Jackrabbits put together a near-flawless performance in a 59-0 shutout of UAlbany in the semifinals of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium. The top-seeded Jackrabbits improved to 14-0 overall and running their winning streak to 28 games dating back to the 2022 campaign. The Jacks will play for their second consecutive National Title on January 6th when they face Montana in Frisco, Texas. Montana State advanced to the title game with a 31-29 double overtime win over North Dakota State on Saturday. The National Championship game is set for Sunday, Jan. 7, in Frisco, Texas.
