FRISCO, Texas – The South Dakota State Jackrabbits will vie for their second straight Football Championship Subdivision National Championship Sunday as they get set to battle the Montana Grizzlies. Led by quarterback and FCS Player of the Year Mark Gronowski, the Jacks will bring a perfect 14-0 record to the title match and of those 14 games, only three opponents have stayed within one or two possessions in their final margins of defeat. SDSU reached the championship with a 59-0 dismantling of Albany. Montana has won ten straight games and is 13-1 on the season, suffering just an early season loss at Northern Arizona. They got past North Dakota State in overtime to set up the clash with the Jackrabbits. Game time Sunday (Jan. 7, 2024) will be 1:00 and the game can be viewed on ABC-TV.
