BROOKINGS,, S.D. – Two-time defending Football Championship Subdivision champion South Dakota State added five student-athletes to its 2024 recruiting class Wednesday, the first day of the regular signing period for Division I football. Four of the additions are high school standouts who have been accepted for admission to SDSU and plan to join the Jackrabbits in the fall including quarterback Jack Thue of Brandon and linebacker Broden Schiller of Volga in South Dakota. South Dakota State, coached by Jimmy Rogers, previously announced 29 commitments during the December early signing period.
