Internationally recognized investigative journalist Lara Logan will give the keynote address “The Undeclared War on Food” at R-CALF USA’s 25th Anniversary National Convention and Trade Show on Friday, June 21. The event is expected to welcome nearly 500 attendees with several thousand joining online.
Originally from Durban, South Africa, Logan has reported from the front lines of war and the most dangerous places in the world. A former long-time journalist on CBS News’ “60 Minutes” and Fox News contributor, she is decorated with numerous prestigious journalism awards and has earned a prominent place among the world’s top foreign correspondents.
Logan is known for asking the tough questions and today is a sought-after voice on various news programs, podcasts and prime time shows. She frequently speaks out against the status quo and mainstream media highlighting issues surrounding freedom, government control, globalism, trade, and food security; and has openly criticized the United Nations Agenda 2030 and World Economic Forum objectives and the climate change narrative.
R-CALF USA has encouraged cattle producers to denounce efforts to shepherd cattle producers onto the environmental, social and governance (ESG) path, which the group says will deprive cattle producers of their independence, freedom and liberty.
According to R-CALF USA, efforts to control food production and food producers are underway and are outlined in the global policies and stated motives of the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.
“She has reported from across the world, and we are honored that on June 21 Lara will take the stage at our convention,” said R-CALF USA Marketing Director Jaiden Moreland. “We look forward to her insights on freedom, fighting for our industry and standing up against the global effort targeting independent cattle producers.”
