A total of $3450 was raised for the Pierre Area Referral Service through the Jason and Vera Nachtigal/DRG Media Group Tackle Hunger fundraiser.
For every $50 donated to PARS, people received one entry into the drawing for two tickets for Sunday’s (Nov. 30, 2025) game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks, in Seattle. The Nachtigals donated the tickets along with $1000 for travel expenses.
From all of the entries, Paula Tronvold’s name was drawn to watch Pierre native Grey Zabel and his Seahawks take on the Vikings. Tronvold, also from Pierre, has seats on the lower level, 50-yard line to watch Sunday’s game.
THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Tackle Hunger fundraiser to help stock the shelves at PARS and support local folks in need. Also, THANK YOU to Jason and Vera Nachtigal for donating their tickets and the money for travel expenses.
