Capital Area United Way creates fund to assist people in Highmore affected by this week’s storm

Capital Area United Way of Pierre and Fort Pierre has activated a Disaster Relief Fund to support the Highmore community following the severe storm earlier this week (June 29, 2026).

Please put a “Highmore Disaster Relief” notation on your check or online donation to ensure your gift is designated specifically for recovery efforts in Highmore.

To contribute to their relief efforts, you can:
