Missouri Valley football coaches and media who cover the league have picked North Dakota State to win the 2023 Missouri Valley Football Conference title.
NDSU, the defending FCS national champion, had 39 of the 41 first-place votes. The other two went to South Dakota State, who was second in the poll. South Dakota was picked to finish sixth.
SDSU has nine selections on the preseason all-conference team. USD has five preseason all-conference players.
