EAGAN, MN – Former first-round draft pick wide receiver Jalen Reagor joined the Minnesota Vikings Wednesday, obtained in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for a seventh-round 2023 draft pick and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2024.
Reagor had 64 catches and three touchdowns in two seasons with the Eagles, far from what the Eagles had expected from the 21st overall pick from TCU in 2020. He also missed five games in his rookie season with a torn thumb ligament.
Reagor lost one of two muffed punts in the Eagles’ wild-card loss last year to the Buccaneers.
Reagor will fill the spot of the fourth receiver for the Vikings. It was left open when Bisi Johnson tore an ACL last Saturday in the Vikings’ final preseason game.
To make room on the roster for Reagor, the Vikings released wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette.
