On Saturday the Mobridge Pollock Tiger Football Team took the long trip to Wagner for a chance to remain undefeated. The game was set on a beautiful Saturday afternoon with playing conditions almost perfect. The Red Raiders from Wagner got on the board first as Jhett Breen went 19 yards for a touchdown run and the two point conversion was missed with 7:15 left in the first quarter. Mobridge Pollock would get points on the board in the first quarter as well as Jackson Eisemann went on a 26 yard keeper to paydirt. The Tigers would also miss the two point conversion. It was six to six when Wagner would score again as again Jhett Breen would run a 20 yard touchdown in and again the Red Raiders would miss the two point conversion to make the score 12 to 6 with 1 minute 21 seconds left in the first quarter. Early in the second quarter the Tigers intercepted a Wagner Pass and then fumbled the ball allowing Riley Roberts to scoop up the turn over and take it 60 yards for another touchdown. With 10 minutes left in the half the Red Raiders led 18 to 6. The Tigers would get on the board again before halftime as Jackson Eisemann hit Aiden Schoenhard on a 17 yard pass for the touch down and the Tigers would tack on the two point conversion to make the halftime score Rad Raiders 18 Tigers 14. The second half was owned by the Tigers as they scored early in the third quarter as Jackson Eisemann hit Holden Eisemann for a twenty yard touchdown and added the two point conversion for a 22 to 18 lead. In the fourth quarter Jackson Eisemann scored from a yard out twice and Mobridge Pollock would go on to beat Wagner 36 to 18. The Tigers will now get ready to face the Pheasants from Redfield at Tiger Stadium this Friday.
The Boy’s Golf Team will be at the Groton Invitational on Thursday.
Tonight, the volleyball team from Mobridge Pollock will be in Eureka to take on the Thunder from North Central. McLaughlin will take on Cheyenne Eagle Butte, Faulkton Area will take on Hitchcock Tulare and Herreid Selby Area will take on Strasburg Zeeland.
Friday Night Lights will see some great match-ups. Warner will be in Hoven to take on Potter County, Ipswich will host Northwestern, Timber Lake will host Dupree, Newell will be in Selby against Herreid Selby Area and the game of the week on KMLO 100 point seven FM will be North Central at Faith.
