SIOUX FALLS – Augustana women’s basketball head coach Dave Krauth announced Wednesday that this upcoming season will be his last as the Vikings’ head coach.
Krauth has been Augustana’s head coach for 33 seasons and has led Augustana to 14 Division II NCAA Tournament appearances, including to the Final Four in 2013. The program had never made an NCAA Tournament before Krauth arrived.
His 670 wins are the most in program history and are 48th most all-time in any division.
Krauth is a four-time conference coach of the year and was inducted this year into the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame.
Before coming to Augustana, Krauth won 347 games as a high school head coach at Tri-Valley High School in Colton and at Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa.
