SIOUX FALLS – 2022 WNIT champion South Dakota State is ranked first in the preseason Summit League women’s basketball poll, followed by South Dakota in second.
The Jackrabbits have three players on the preseason all-conference first team, including guard Myah Selland, who was named as the league preseason Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Paiton Burckhard and Paige Meyer join Selland on the preseason all-conference first team.
Guard Grace Larkins of the Coyotes is on the second team preseason all-conference. USD lost all five of its starters from a team that won a Division I NCAA Tournament game for the first time last season.
