Jory Teddy (Seirs) Running Wolf was born October 16, 1991, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. When Jory was born she was very tiny, and her sisters and aunties loved carrying her around.
She was the youngest of the family. When she was a little girl Jory enjoyed riding her bike, skateboarding, and her pogo stick. She said that she was going to break the record. When she
was a teenager Jory liked to be with her friends and cousins. When she stayed inside, she liked to write about her day and the places she wanted to visit and all the concerts she would go to. Jory’s
favorite places to eat was the Chinese Buffet in Pierre and Taco Bell in Rapid City. Jory liked to tease her friends and family because she wanted to feel close to them. She was a kind person, and
many are going to miss the sound of her laugh and seeing her smile. After graduating from high school in 2010, Jory married Trastin Longbrake. They had four beautiful daughters: Alexis Loren, Amazyn Lou Raquel, Eveleigh Pystal Allison, and Rowan Kohal Longbrake. Jory worked temporarily as a dental assistant. She really enjoyed her time there and making friends with the staff. She also worked at the homeless shelter. She liked meeting different people, and she was interested in all the stories they told her.
Jory leaves behind her four daughters: Alexis, Amazyn, Eveleigh, and Rowan; parents: Charlotte Wolf and Bill Seirs; brothers and sisters: Dain W. Curley, Arlana Running Wolf, Lynn Running
Wolf, Sara Condon, Tina Seirs, Billie Jo Seirs, Tessa Seirs, and Aaron Seirs; and many cousins and other relatives.
Jory was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eva Roberts; grandfather, Francis Running Wolf; and auntie, Carol Moran.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Jory’s arrangements.
