The Oahe Zap were victorious against Fremont Moo 7-3 on Saturday.
The Oahe Zap got on the board in the first inning after Preston Lau doubled, scoring one run. They added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Jackson Mix singled, and Trevor Segraves doubled, each scoring one run.
Brady Glenn pitched four and two-thirds innings in relief for Oahe Zap. The left-handed pitcher gave up three hits and two runs while, striking out one and walking two. Abel Anzaldua led things off on the hill for Oahe Zap. The right-handed pitcher gave up three hits and one run over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking three. Luke Gainer started on the bump for Fremont Moo. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out six and walking two.
The Zap amassed 11 hits in the game. Kyle Memarian, Andrew Beavers, Jared Heck, and Tyler Traphagen each collected two hits for the Zap. Segraves, Beavers, Heck, Mix, Lau, and Traphagen each drove in one run for the Zap. The Zap turned one double play in the game.
Christian Hobbs, Ben Swails, and Tyman Long each collected two hits for the Fremont Moo. Long provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Fremont Moo iLB with two runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-3 on the day.
