Zap Begin Last Homestand With Loss

PIERRE – Casper scored seven runs in the second, third and fourth innings Tuesday, then held on for a 7-4 win over the Oahe Zap at Hyde Stadium.

Zap starter Kaleb Hay gave up all seven runs and 12 hits in four innings.

Lucas Danielewicz hit a three-run double in the Spuds’ five-run third inning.

Jackson Mix, Kyle Memarian, Andrew Beavers and Jared Heck drove in a run each for the Zap (14-37), who have now lost nine straight games.
