Fort Pierre community members invited to take part in “Freshen Up” Fort Pierre cleanup April 25

A city-wide “Freshen Up Fort Pierre” cleanup effort will be held Saturday (April 25, 2026).

Fort Pierre residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and take pride in their community by helping to beautify public spaces across town by volunteering to pick up litter and debris.

Volunteers can sign up in advance (signupgenius.com/go/8050E4BAAA728A6FB6-63357137-freshen#/) to claim a specific area of town they’d like to help clean up, but advance registration is not required.

All collected trash should be brought to a designated dumpster located at Bkat’s Tavern between noon and 2pm on the day of the event.
