(Ft. Pierre) Stanley County Emergency Management extends its sincere appreciation to the Stanley County Commissioners for their continued support in establishing and advancing the county’s renewed Emergency Management program. Their commitment has been essential in building a stronger, more resilient public safety framework for all residents of Stanley County. “The support from our County Commissioners has been instrumental,” said Dustin Baxter, Stanley County Emergency Manager. “Their trust in this program allows us to build the foundation needed to protect our residents and strengthen our county’s overall preparedness.”
Stanley County Emergency Management is also proud to announce the recent purchase of a Traffic Incident Management Trailer (TIMS). This specialized trailer is equipped with cones, signage, lighting, and scene-control tools designed to help first responders quickly establish safe, visible traffic-control zones during emergency roadway incidents.
“Every year, responders across the country are injured or killed while working on roadways,” Baxter said. “This trailer gives us the tools to create safer scenes, protect our responders, and keep the public moving safely around an incident.”
