Beyoncé celebrated the Fourth of July by releasing her first new song since “Cowboy Carter”. It’s called “Morning Dew (Donk)”, and it’s part of a 20th anniversary reissue of her second solo album, “B’Day”.
The new song kicked off a countdown to September 4th, when the reissue will be released. It’s also her birthday.
The song was reportedly recorded in 2013.
A black-and-white lyric video was also released and features old footage from Beyoncé’s “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit photoshoot in 2007.
