Traffic has been disrupted along US Highway 14 one mile north of Pierre after a semi hauling feed rolled onto its side mid-morning today (9:26am Oct. 1).
Preliminary information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 2017 Peterbuilt semi carrying feed was westbound on US Highway 14 (near mile marker 231) when the driver made a left-hand turn onto Garfield Avenue. The cattle feed shifted, causing the semi to roll onto its side.
The 54-year-old male driver received minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt. No charges are pending.
