A 30 year old man from Warwick, New Jersey, was killed in a two-vehicle crash three miles west of Kimball Thursday night (10:55pm).
Information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer was eastbound on Interstate 90 when it was struck by a 2014 Toyota 4 Runner SUV that was westbound in the eastbound lanes.
The driver of the SUV, Adrian Jordan, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. 60-year-old Edward Herring, the driver of the semi, was wearing a seat belt, sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Chamberlain hospital.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
