1800+ items and $780+ donated during DRG Community Food Drive to help fill food pantry shelves for Hughes and Stanley County residents

The first ever Dakota Radio Group Community Food Drive collected more than 1800 food items and over $780 in monetary donations yesterday (Nov. 11) at the Lynn’s Dakotamart parking lot in Fort Pierre!

The Becki Potrzeba State Farm and Kari Bauman State Farm team won our business sponsor contest having 831 items donated in their name. Dunes Golf brought in 604 items and Lynn’s Dakotamart was credited with 389 items.

All items will be delivered to the Pierre Area Referral Service today to help stock the food pantry shelves for the weeks ahead.
