Stanley County School 3rd graders video chat with local soldier currently stationed in Africa

Stanley County 3^rd grade students and teacher Miss Ashley Holm recognized Veterans Day earlier this month (Nov. 11) by having a virtual chat with Mrs. Jeri Fosheim, who currently deployed to Africa with the Army National Guard.

Students asked her various questions about her job, where she sleeps, and what she does in her free time.

In addition to this video chat, SC students observed Veterans Day with other classroom activities and by sending thank you notes to nursing homes and the State Veterans Home.

Mrs. Fosheim is the mother of SC students Jesse, Sarah, and James.

The students and staff of SC are very grateful for all women and men past and present who have served this country.
