SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State’s Myah Selland and South Dakota’s Hannah Sjerven share the honor as the Summit League Women’s Basketball Players of the Week.
Selland had double-doubles in both of the Jackrabbits’ wins last week. She tied her career highs with 21 points and 11 rebounds in an 87-73 win over Drake, adding four assists and a block. In a 60-52 win at then-number 20 Missouri State, Selland scored 19 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and had career highs of six assists and four steals.
Sjerven became the first Coyote in 17 years to have a game with at least 30 points and 20 rebounds, scoring 31 with 20 boards in an 84-68 win Thursday at Bradley. Sunday, Sjerven had 15 points with seven rebounds and three blocks in USD’s loss at Oklahoma.
