Each week in Pierre, the Southeast Community Center, in partnership with local organizations, provides Thursday night meals through their Banquet program.
On Feb. 11, 2021, as part of their continued effort to support local community members, the Capital Area United Way prepared and served 260 meals.
The Banquet program provides close to 300 dinners per week throughout the year. The meals are offered at no cost to the individuals and families. During the pandemic, meals are distributed solely via drive-up and pick-up, with service beginning at 5pm.
