A 43 year old man from Pierre faces Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Driving with a Suspended License charges after a traffic stop shortly before 11:30 last night (Mon.).
Information from the Pierre Police Department says officers received a tip that a vehicle stolen from a different part of town was located in the area of the 900 block of Preston Place in the northeastern part of town. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with David White, Jr. who was in a nearby residence. White admitted to driving the vehicle to its current location.
White, Jr. was taken into custody and transported to the Hughes County Jail.
