The Pierre Players community theater group kicks off its 2022 season with show announcements and a short annual membership meeting today (Sept. 9, 2021) from 4-6pm at the St. Charles Lounge Banquet Room (207 E. Capitol Ave.) in Pierre.
Patrons can purchase their 2022 season membership, learn fun facts about Pierre Players and enjoy some socially distanced snacks. Pierre Players will announce its new season, and directors will be on hand to talk about their productions and answer any questions. People can stay for the entire kickoff or come and go.
Pierre Players members are encouraged to stay for a short annual business meeting at 6pm to learn about the state of the organization and plans for the future. New Pierre Players Board of Governors members will be voted on at the meeting.
Those who are unable to attend the kickoff but would like to purchase a 2022 season membership can access the form to print and mail or sign up for and pay for their membership online at https://pierreplayers.com/involvement/membership.
Pierre Players’ current production, “A Little Piece of Heaven” was rescheduled from earlier this year to Oct. 22-24 and Oct. 28-30. This production is part of PPCT’s current season, meaning that season members can see the production as part of their 2020-2021 membership.
