The final First Thursday event of the year starts at 5:30 tonight (Oct. 7, 2021) at Fischers Lilly Park in Fort Pierre.
There will be a variety of booths and vendors and the season finale starts at 8pm– a movie in the park featuring “Hocus Pocus.” A few picnic tables are available, but people are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

Activities and informational booths include, but are not limited to:

Listen to music by the Pierre Youth Orchestra, accompanied by Dr. Jim Szana and Moriah Gross. They are kicking off their 10th Anniversary Season.

Buy a meal of burgers on freshly baked buns, chips and cookies from Vintage Square.

American Legion selling beverages.

Activities at the South Dakota Discovery Center, Stanley County Gold Program, The Right Turn and Capital Area Pickleball Association booths.

Face or arm painting for a free-will donation that will be given to the Capital City Farmers’ Market.

Informational booths with the state Department of Human Services, Healthy Hometown and a project to establish an all-season fish cleaning station for Fort Pierre.

Various vendors.

A movie in the park starting at 8pm, featuring the Halloween classic “Hocus Pocus.”
