SDSU Holds Off George Mason

SIOUX FALLS – Noah Friedel scored 25 points and Baylor Scheierman added 21 Wednesday as South Dakota State held off George Mason 80-76 in the final game of the Crossover Classic at the Sanford Pentagon.

Douglas Wilson scored 14 and Luke Appel 11 for the Jackrabbits.

SDSU (6-2) shot 55 percent from the floor for the game and 62 percent in the second half.
