No one was injured but a restaurant received smoke damage fire during an early morning (Wed.) fire east of Pierre.
Pierre Rural Volunteer Fire Department chief Jason Roggo says they were called to the Cattleman’s Club around 5:30am.
He says properly working smoke detectors allowed the fire to be discovered and responded to quickly.
Roggo says the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
