The Pierre School District has qualified to provide breakfast and lunch meals for all students enrolled in the district through the end of the year– FREE OF CHARGE.
Food service director Liz Marso says the program starts Monday (Sept. 21, 2020) and runs until December 31 or until funding runs out. She says it’s being offered due to the COVID pandemic.
Who does this include?
- All students doing in person learning will receive meals in cafeteria.
- Meal distribution and pick up. Please ORDER HERE for meal pick up.
- All students doing PSD online learning
- All students who are enrolled students and are home in isolation/quarantine.
- Please send healthy adult to pick up.
- All students doing in person learning from home in the event of hybrid learning models or closure.
If your student wishes to purchase extra milks, extra entrees or other items not included in the free meal, those items will still be available for purchase.
Students will automatically receive this benefit starting Monday. You will be notified when funding has run out and meals are back to being purchased.
