General Election draws 75.24% voter turnout in Hughes County

Three-quarters (75.24%) of the registered voters in Hughes County participated in yesterday’s (Nov. 3) general election.

County finance officer Jane Naylor says there was a lot of interest in absentee voting.

She says the counting process went smoothly.

Naylor says Hughes County election results will be finalized tomorrow.

The state will canvass election results next week.
