Judges selected the Oahe Federal Credit Union float as the winner of the 20th annual Pierre Area Parade of Lights yesterday (Nov. 23, 2020) evening.
Second place went to Fischer, Rounds and Associates and third place was awarded to the Music Honor Society.
The Mayor’s Choice Award was given to the Gateway Ford, Lincoln, Toyota dealership. The Griswold Award (most lights) was given to Fun Time Rentals.
Parade winners and their prizes are listed below.
- 1st place received $100 in Pierre Pride Dollars– which can be spent in Pierre or Fort Pierre– sponsored by Lynn’s Dakotamart: Oahe Federal Credit Union
- 2nd place gets $75 in Pierre Pride Dollars sponsored by the ClubHouse Hotel & Suites: Fischer Rounds and Associates
- 3rd place took got $50 in Pierre Pride Dollars sponsored by First National Bank: Music Honor Society
- Mayor’s Choice received $50 in Pierre Pride Dollars: Gateway Ford, Lincoln & Toyota
- Griswold Award winner got $50 in Pierre Pride Dollars sponsored by Walmart: Fun Times Rentals
