PIERRE – Ommar Jackson and the Hastings Sodbusters were too much for the Pierre Trappers on Sunday.
Jackson had four hits and six RBI as Hastings defeated Pierre 9-2 to take three out of four games in the weekend series.
Jakob Newman (0-1) allowed six runs and six hits with four walks and five strikeouts in six innings.
Nick Strong and Andrew Kim had RBI singles for the Trappers’ runs in the seventh inning.
