WINNER – Top seed and defending champion Winner needed only 16 offensive plays and one half to roll over 16th-seed Clark/Willow Lake 60-6. Kaden Keiser ran back the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown, then rushed for two scores. Aiden Barfuss, Riley Shippy and Jack Peters also had rushing touchdowns for the Warriors (9-0), who will host McCook Central/Montrose in the quarterfinal round.

CHESTER – Defending champion Platte-Geddes, on the road as the ninth seed, defeated Chester Area on Thursday 35-12. Grayson Hanson rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns for the Black Panthers. Stratton Eppard had a 30-yard interception return for a score for Platte-Geddes (7-2), who will play at Hanson in the quarterfinals.
IPSWICH – Ipswich (8-1), the third seed, shut out 14th-seed Lemmon/McIntosh 36-0 to advance to the quarterfinals against Canistota/Freeman.

SELBY – Tray Hettick passed for five first-half touchdowns and ran for another Thursday as top-seed Herreid/Selby Area remained undefeated with a 50-6 win over Northwestern. Darion Barker and Trevor Gill had two scoring receptions each. Brenden Begeman caught a touchdown pass, then ran for a score in the second half for the Wolverines (10-0).
KADOKA – Carson Kirwan rushed for 207 yards and four touchdowns as Castlewood ran past Kadoka Area 42-20 on Thursday. The Kougars (5-4), who made their first-ever semifinal appearance in 2020, had a touchdown pass from Garrett Herman to Dawson Reckling and touchdown runs by Herman and Reece Ohrtman.
Herreid/Selby Area will host Castlewood in the quarterfinals.
WALL – Fourth-seed Wall raced past North Central 56-6 on Thursday as the Eagles’ Burk Blasius passed for three touchdowns and Cedar Amiotte ran for three.
The only points for North Central (3-7) came on the last play of the first half when Ashton Hartling ran back a blocked field goal 96 yards for a touchdown.

GETTYSBURG – Quarterback Grant Luikens had five total touchdowns Thursday as Potter County easily knocked off Jones County 52-6. Luikens had two touchdown passes to Cooper Logan and one to Drake Bassett. Landon Larson also threw a touchdown pass to Logan. Basset returned a punt 31 yards for a touchdown for the Battlers (8-2).
Kaden Kinsley gave Jones County (1-8) their only points on a fourth-quarter touchdown run.
Potter County will host Hitchcock-Tulare in the quarterfinals.
ALCESTER – Sully Buttes (4-5) was held to 52 yards offense in a 34-0 quarterfinal loss to Alcester-Hudson. Jovey Christensen and Mateo Keinhans each ran for two scores for the Cubs.
