VERMILLION – Hannah Sjerven scored a career-high 35 points Saturday in a win for South Dakota Women’s Basketball, 71-59 over Wichita State at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
Sjerven was 11-of-17 from the floor and 12-of-15 on free throws, tying the sixth-best single-game performance in program history.
Also for USD (4-4), Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb scored 14 points and Liv Korngable had 12. Lamb also had a season-high eight rebounds.
The Coyotes will host Bradley Monday night in Vermillion.
