BROOKINGS – Missouri State held off South Dakota State women’s basketball at Frost Arena Monday, 55-52.
Mariah White led Missouri State with 17 points.
Kallie Theisen, Tylee Irwin and Payton Burckhard each scored 11 for SDSU (3-6), which dropped its second straight game.
Missouri State used an 11-4 run in the fourth quarter to extend a one-point lead to seven. Irwin tried a tying three-pointer with two seconds left for the Jackrabbits, but the Bears’ Sydney Wilson blocked the shot.
SDSU will host Kansas State Saturday in Brookings.
