Four top-ranked preseason teams, the Sioux Falls Roosevelt and De Smet boys and the Sioux Falls Washington and Aberdeen Roncalli girls, stayed at number one in the new media high school basketball polls, released Monday.
Preseason Class A boys number 1 Sioux Falls Christian lost and fell to number 5. Previous Class A girls number one Winner lost and dropped out of the poll.
In the boys polls, Pierre received votes in the AA poll, Winner received votes in A and Platte-Geddes and Lyman received votes in B.
