Cochrane Named MVFC Scholar Athlete Of The Year

ST. LOUIS – Senior linebacker Jack Cochrane was named as the first South Dakota Coyote to be the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Cochrane was named to the MVFC All-Academic Team for the third time.  He was joined on the first team by long snapper Dalton Godfrey and punter Brady Schutt.  South Dakota State’s Wes Genant also made the first team.

On the second team are USD wide receiver Caleb Vander Esch and left tackle Alex Jensen.  Placekicker Mason Lorber and wide receiver Carter Bell earned honorable mention honors.
