SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota made the Summit League Women’s Tournament championship for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons Monday with an 81-67 win over Kansas City at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Sully Buttes alum and Summit League Player of the Year Chloe Lamb scored a career-high 33 points, hitting 12-of-16 shots and five-of-six three pointers. Hannah Sjerven scored 24 with nine rebounds for the Coyotes (26-5).
Naomie Alnatas scored 21 for Kansas City (23-8).
USD will play for its third straight Summit League postseason championship Tuesday afternoon against South Dakota State.
