BROOKINGS – Summit League Player of the Year Baylor Scheierman announced Tuesday that he is transferring from South Dakota State to Creighton.
Scheierman will be closer to his home of Aurora, Nebraska. He will have two years of eligibility remaining if he withdraws his name from consideration for the NBA Draft. Scheierman has until June 1 to do that.
Scheierman, a 6’6” guard, averaged 16.2 points per game this past season while leading the Summit League in rebounding at 7.8 per game and assists at 4.5 per game. He shot 50 percent from the floor and 47 percent on three-pointers.
