For the third time, the Minnesota Vikings will play a regular-season game outside the United States.
The NFL announced Wednesday that the Vikings will face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 2 in London at the home stadium of soccer’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The other two regular-season international games for the Vikings were also in London: a 34-27 win over the Steelers at Wembley Stadium in 2013 and a 33-16 victory over the Browns at Twickenham Stadium in 2017.
Also, the Vikings played exhibition games in London in 1983, in Berlin in 1993 and in Tokyo in 1994.
The full schedule for the Vikings and the NFL will be released on May 12.
