The Hughes County Commission has unanimously approved a rezoning request for a lot near Harrold.
During a public hearing at a meeting earlier this month (Jan. 16, 2024), Jordan Hanson said his goal is to provide a place for folks to get together in Harrold.
Harrold resident Jay Miller, a neighbor to Hanson’s property, is worried about noise, alcohol and the size of the space.
Hanson says he only applied for beer and wine licenses, mostly because of the cost of a liquor license.
Miller says Hanson’s explanations helped him understand his plans, but Miller still has concerns with the project.
