Stanley County temporary road closure: 302nd Avenue

Because of damage caused by Monday’s (June 29, 2026) severe storm, about one mile of 302 Avenue in Stanley County has been temporarily closed.

According to Stanley County Emergency Management, 302 Avenue is closed from Stoup’s for approximately one mile due to significant damage to the roadway and culvert.

People may access properties from the north or from the south, but people CANNOT travel through the closed area. Barricades have been set up for the safety of the public. DO NOT drive around them.

Stanley County Emergency Management and the Stanley County Highway Department are monitoring the situation, evaluating repairs and will provide updates as more information becomes available. They thank people for their patience and cooperation.
