Pierre changes utility billing software; Working out the glitches in how bills look

The City of Pierre transitioned to a new utility billing software system at the end of January 2024.

Deputy Finance Officer Lacey Walz says the February bills were the first ones customers received and they looked differently than previous utility bills.

Walz says one of the most frequently asked questions they’ve received because of the new bills has to do with how the wastewater billing looks.
