The decision has come. NBA veteran and superstar LeBron James will be a Philadelphia 76er. The deal is reportedly a two-year, $8 million deal with a player option included. The news came from Klutch Sports Group CEO Rich Paul.
This is the fourth different team James will join in his career as he looks for a fifth NBA championship title before his impending retirement.
The 76ers are facing a 43-year championship drought, and James knows a thing our two about snapping streaks. He ended a 52-year streak for the city of Cleveland after winning a title with the Cavaliers in 2016.
James is entering his 24th season in the NBA.
