VERMILLION – The struggle for South Dakota Women’s Basketball continued Wednesday with a 67-61 loss to Tennessee-Martin at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. USD now has six straight losses, the longest losing streak for the program since its entry into Division I 15 years ago.
Sharnecce Currie-Jelks led the Skyhawks with 23 points.
Grace Larkins and Cassidy Carson each scored 12 points for the Coyotes (4-7). Jeniah Ugofsky scored 11.
USD will open Summit League play Monday in Vermillion against Kansas City.
