Number-one teams remained the same, but new teams moved into the South Dakota Media High School Basketball Polls, the latest of which were released Monday.
Sioux Falls Jefferson, Dakota Valley and White River remain atop the boys polls, with O’Gorman, Hamlin and Viborg-Hurley still leading the way in the girls’ rankings.
Despite losses last week, both Pierre Governor teams remain in the AA polls. Pierre’s boys dropped a spot to number three. The Governor girls are also down one place to number four.
Lower Brule remains fifth in the Class B boys poll, with Sully Buttes up a place to fourth in the Class B girls ranking. Jones County fell out of the top five after one week.
