FORT MYERS, FL – Max Kepler’s home run in the fourth inning provided the only run of the game Monday in the Minnesota Twins’ 1-0 spring training victory over the New York Yankees at Hammond Stadium.
Seven Twins pitchers combined for a three-hit shutout. Danny Coulombe worked the first two innings and Caleb Thielbar the third.
Kepler also singled for the Twins (8-7-2). Kyle Garlick and Joey Gallo had singles.
