Pierre woman charged after pulling out a knife during weekend incident at Pierre home

A 41 year old woman from Pierre is charged with Aggravated Assault, Domestic, after an incident at a home over the weekend.

Information from the Pierre Police Department says officers were called Saturday morning (Sept. 16, 2023, 7:40am) to the 1800 Block of E. Park Street because of a reported assault. Officers met with the victim who said there had been an argument and the suspect, Jennifer Oxner, pulled a knife and pointed it at the victim. The victim was not cut with the knife.

Oxner was arrested and taken to the Hughes County Jail.
